Founded in 1972, Carneros Creek winery was founded with the intent to grow and produce world-class Pinot Noir comparable to those hailing from the famed region of Burgundy, France. A true Pinot pioneer, our original winemaking facility was the first built in the Carneros AVA since the end of Prohibition. Committed to quality growing and small lot winemaking practices, Carneros Creek took a leadership role in the development of California Pinot Noir in the 1970's and 1980's. Today, we continue to carry on our proud tradition of producing show-stopping wines showcasing the best of Carneros.
