Powers Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Sheridan Vineyard 2016

The 2016 vintage shows very complex aromatics of dried Bing cherry, blackberries, anise, and graphite with a hint of herbs and spice on the nose. The palate has layered dense flavors of black currant, cherry, and spice with a nice touch of minerality that completes that concentrated but delicate mouthfeel. It is this nice balance of fine and complex tannins alongside a bright fruit intensity with a nice touch of minerality, oak, and a sturdy backbone of acidity that are the characteristics we love about the Sheridan Vineyard site and what we think sets it apart.
