Hand harvested at night, and whole cluster pressed. It was then barrel fermented with native yeast and malolactic fermentations. Aging was sur lie for 16 months in French oak; 25% new. This wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Inviting aromas of grapefruit, chamomile, and cut straw, burst out of the glass. The chiseled entry yields to a rich but energetic palate that is savory and elegant.
